WOW! Half-way through 1st Grade!!!

We made it through the 1st semester of 1st grade!!!  It went by very quickly and I can say I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!  I couldn't have asked for a better group of little minds to be with every day!  Here are some photos from the crazy week before Christmas break!
This is the set up I made for our "Celebrations Around the World".  My country was Mexico and we learned the legend of the Poinsettia.  We listened to "Feliz Navidad" while I stamped their passports and they colored the flag of Mexico.

Close up of some wonderful things my mother-in-law was able to bring me back from her trip to Mexico! We even got to look at real Mexican Pesos!!

This was our poinsettia craft we made while listening to the legend of the poinsettia!

Mrs. Glass brought us in some jello stars as a Christmas treat! :-)  Thank you!

We LOVE Jello Jigglers!

Happy New Year to Mrs. Schmitt's 20 little loves!!!

Visit from St. Nick and Santa Claus!!!

Last week, as the kids arrived, I had them pull off one shoe and put it in the hallway.  They just knew a surprise was coming!
